Remember the last time people were so excited about retail that they danced on the sales floor?

It seems like a very long time ago, but on Tuesday night, the sentiment was revived at Nordstrom’s pre-opening celebration for the new Men’s Store NY.

Between the innovative Make Your Own Suit station, the Levi’s Tailor Shop, and seemingly endless great clothes and accessories, the music was pumping and the crowd was buzzing with energy. Mark Ruffalo, Rashida Jones, Victor Cruz, Joan Smalls, Andrew Rosen, Marcus Wainwright, Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, Simon Spurr, Jeffrey Banks, Gigi Burris, Christian Combs, Victor Glemaud, and Brian Atwood were among the revelers.

Ice T, Coco in tow, was spotted trying on Christian Louboutin shoes. That should be a delight to the Nordstroms, and especially patriarch Bruce Nordstrom, when encountering the musician, admitted, “I watch you on TV all the time.”
