There’s some talk about how, post-pandemic, we will hit the Roaring Twenties — as in a time for unbound creativity and outré, 24/7 celebration. If that is indeed the case, Naeem Khan is more than primed with a spectacular collection for the bride of this new era.

The lineup was dramatic in the best possible way. A distinct 1920s art deco vibe reverberated through column looks with graphic detailing (think Tamara de Lempicka), while symmetrical shoulder lines and strictly tailored shoulders added a strong statement for a more daring bride. Beautiful pastel embroidery on more fluid looks added pure romance to the narrative.

The pièces de resistance, however, were a series of short flapper wedding numbers, styled with wide fishnet tights. They were ready for a Bob Fosse-choreographed wedding party—now that’s something to look forward to!
