In time for the release of our new book American Runway: 75 Years of Fashion and the Front Row, we asked CFDA Members to recall their favorite runway moments. Here, designer and former model Rosetta Getty:

“I remember as a model, my first time walking in a show.  I think it was Paris but can’t recall the designer. I was so young, only about 15 and very shy. Waiting in line for my turn, I felt incredibly nervous and thought I might faint. As I walked out, everything went blank and before I knew it I was backstage again.”
