Monse Makes a Strong Return with Spring 2023

Monse kicked off the fashion show season with an impressive collection, in which co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia embraced a sense of fantasy that was equal parts extravagant and modern.

Deconstructed petticoats and corsets had a youthful vibe with sheer fabrics, lace-up detailing, and cutouts. Held overlooking Battery Park, the show was a return to the brand’s core DNA, ie. a downtown cool meets fashion fun.

Shortly after their first runway show for press, retailers, a second one was held in partnership with American Express. Platinum Card Members were invited to view the collection, meet with Kim and Garcia and learn about the collection in a conversation moderated by Zanna Rassi. Select pieces, including a limited-edition collection inspired t-shirt designed in collaboration with American Express Platinum, will be available to Card Members on CFDA’s Shop Runway360 platform.
