Goodbye New York, hello, sunshine.

After more than 10 years on Bond Street, much-loved fine jewelry designer Mish Tworkowski is packing up and relocating his design studio and salon to Palm Beach, Florida.

Mish has been a New York City fixture for three decades, first on the Upper East Side, then downtown, right near CFDA’s headquarters. The designer will close his Bond Street door at the end of August and will reopen within Palm Beach’s Phipps Plaza enclave in time for the holiday season.

Die-hard Mish clients need not despair, though. The designer just launched his first global e-commerce shopping site at mishfinejewelry.com.

“I’m so thrilled to be launching a global e-commerce shopping destination, so we can serve our clientele around the world,” Tworkowski said. “The time felt right with our studio move. We are also really looking forward to moving our business to Palm Beach where we already have a well-established presence in the town. We regularly spend part of the winter season there, and I look forward to building deeper relationships in the community in the future. I have come to know so many wonderful friends and clients there through my work with the Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach, where I have newly been elected to the Board. Of course, New York City will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will continue to create our jewelry in our esteemed workshops there and visit during key selling seasons.”

The new Palm Beach salon and studio will be at 244 South County Road. Mish’s architect husband and business partner Joseph Singer is working with local architect Smith Kellogg Architecture to develop the 2,200 square foot space within a Spanish revival style Addison Mizner building that once housed Bonwit Teller.

The space, it turned out, was once home to a local bank. With that special Mish touch, it will transform into a grand salon fit for discerning luxury clientele.

As for mishfinejewelry.com, the designer worked with The Beaux Arts Digital  creative agency for a sophisticated and elegant website that aligns with his designs.

“We specialize in creating elevated and engaging websites which blend our editorial and clean design direction with the unique aesthetic of each of our clients,” The Beaux Arts Founder Susannah Charbin said. “His brief was a site that would be warm, welcoming, colorful, elegant and fun, all words that we feel not only describe the new website but also Mish himself!”

We will miss running into you in the neighborhood, Mish, but will come and see you in Palm Beach!
