To celebrate the conclusion of CFDA member Maria Cornejo’s ambassadorship with Premiere Vision, her capsule collection developed under the CFDA’s partnership with the leading international trade show organizers, recently launched at Barneys New York through a partnership with her longtime retailer.

The five-piece Zero + Maria Cornejo collection includes fabrics from Switzerland-based Schoeller Textil who follows the Bluesign® System to eradicate harmful substances from fabrics at the beginning of the supply chain. These fabrics were hand-picked by Cornejo in 2017 during a trip to PV Paris at the beginning of her ambassadorship.

A majority of the collection was produced locally by past FMI Grant Fund recipient David Wolfson & Associates, a Garment District full-service sample and production facility.

“Maria Cornejo is pushing boundaries and leading the charge towards a more sustainable industry,” said CFDA President and CEO Steven Kolb.  “Along with her support for local manufacturing, these are exactly the values that led us to choosing her as the PV ambassador.  We’re pleased to see the collection she developed, under our program launch is now at an even larger scale at Barneys.”

The collection is now available in-stores and online.
