It was the New York Fashion Week moment that no one saw coming. As Luar staged its Fall-Winter 2024 show at a Brooklyn warehouse, the crowd was in shock when Beyoncé arrived moments before the first exit.  She accessorized the silver ensemble and a sparking silver cowboy hat (she recently announced her country-focused “Act II” album) with an oversized iridescent Luar bag.

It was a family affair. The superstar sat next to her mother Tina Knowles and her sister Solange Knowles sat a few seats down. The family came out to support the modeling debut of Daniel “Julez” Smith Jr., Solange’s son, who walked down the runway in an oversized, sculptural blue leather suit. The look was inspired by Lopez’s exploration of “metrosexuality,” mixing feminine and masculine elements into each look. Wide-shouldered tops and low cut dresses were paired with massive belts and signature Luar bags in the backpack form. The CFDA Award-winning designer proved there is much more to come.
