This season, Raul Solis continued to build upon what his label is known for best: gender-optional silhouettes that balance tailored with deconstructed, edgy with refined, and classic with modern.
Known for his subversive sportswear, the designer used patent leather into cut-out dresses and warped a basic cotton tees into sculptural draped pieces. Equal parts commercial and avant-garde, everyday sweaters with an elevated chain detailing sat comfortably alongside a skin-tight red vinyl bodysuit.
There was one visible nod to the current global crisis with a finale dress in a striped red and white pattern that read “Stronger Together,” ending with the phrase “It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
