If you’ll excuse the generalization, fashion designers are exceptionally passionate people. Is it the conviction and entrepreneurial spirit it takes to bring their creativity to life? Is it the need for inspiration that drives them to constantly seek out new art, music and literature, as well as diverse people and places? Whatever the source, we often find ourselves admiring the passion of our members, and the fashion community as a whole.
So, on the occasion of both Valentine’s Day and New York Fashion Week: Women’s – when so much of that creativity and passion is on display – CFDA asked a few Members to share the words of love that inspire them most, whether they come from culture or their own lives.
