Sylvie Millstein went all out for her first CFDA Fashion Awards. The New York-based designer, who became a CFDA Member in 2019, tapped model and rising fashion It-girl Leni Klum as her date for the ceremony. For the occasion, Klum wore a Spring-Summer 2024 look from the designer’s brand HELLESSY – a vision in red paired with earrings by Mateo New York and Jimmy Choo pumps.

“I had in mind a show-stopping but easy dress, Leni embodies modern glamour to me so I certainly did not want a traditional gown. I opted for an ultra-delicate and feminine design in blush tulle and crimson silk to compliment her looks,” said Millstein. “It was Leni and my very first CFDA awards event so we were both so excited to prep together and attend, it made it so very special and fun for both of us.”

The daughter of famed model Heidi Klum, Leni’s own fashion profile has been steadily rising. The model is a social media star, boasting over 2 million followers across her platforms. She recently teamed up with her mother on a line of undergarments for Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, and currently serves as a Dior Beauty ambassador.

“I was so honored to attend my first ever CFDA Awards! The foundation is all about future American design talent which I was incredibly eager to be apart of. The highlight of my night was being able to go with such a cutting edge designer as HELLESSY,” said Klum.
