Editors, buyers and other fashion stakeholders use Launchmetrics – the result of a 2015 merger between Augure and Fashion GPS – to RSVP to events and map out their fashion schedule, and more. But as Launchmetrics evolves and expands, new features will bring even more valuable service features to the platform, which, through software and data insights, enables brands to accelerate their launch to market and build lasting exposure through key influencers.
The enhanced experience perfectly merges event and calendar planning with editorial content, public relations and social media features. Enter GPS Radar and Discover.
GPS Radar allows users to curate a landing page, RSVP directly from their phones, request invitations, manage personal fashion week schedules, download product and runway images and create mood boards, and request samples for editorial shoots. Additionally, users can view press releases from brands, access a curated feed of industry news and content, and share content on social media. The platform will also feature original exclusive content. Jessica Michault, the Paris-based fashion journalist, has been tapped to lead GPS Radar as Senior Vice President of Industry Relations for GPS Radar.
GPS Radar is becoming “a virtual press room,” said Launchmetrics Chief Executive Officer Michael Jaïs said at a recent breakfast in New York to introduce the new features.
Meanwhile, the new Discover platform powered by Launchmetrics services the PR measurement needs through print, online and social monitoring. The scope includes 1,800 print titles, 50,000 online news sources and 3 million blogs. Discover also tracks 1.7 million of the world’s top influencers. It ultimately allows users to gain a better understanding of not just the performance of their media efforts, but also its value.
Discover also features bespoke newsletters and enables executives to discover influencers that best fit their brands’ needs.
“It was always Fashion GPS’ mission to listen to the industry and support the way it works,” Jaïs said. “Now, as Launchmetrics, we are excited to offer new tools that combine the technology we have provided to brands and agencies for over a decade with game-changing data to help manage the interaction between fashion companies and influencers.”
