In its ninth season, the participating Americans in Paris designers were asked to customize TUMI’s limited-edition 1975 Square Duffel. Each designer put their own signature twist on their individual duffels using leather appliquès, shearling, paint and denim. In partnership with Paddle8, each of the designers’ duffels are available for bidding with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the CFDA Foundation.
TUMI’s Creative Director, Michael Petry, says, “TUMI has committed itself to empowering journeys as a lifelong partner to movers, makers, and the talented CFDA designers in pursuit of their passions. These designers showcasing their collections during Paris Fashion Week are not only designers, but Global Citizens whose experience is shaping their approach to innovative designs.”
These limited-edition duffels will be available to view at the Americans in Paris showroom from October 3rd through October 5th, between 11am and 6pm, located at Le 8 Valois, 8 Rue de Valois and bidding on Paddle 8 starts now!
