Sally LaPointe has always been about individual expression. It comes as no surprise that for her first-ever LAPOINTE collaboration she tapped her good friend and tattoo artist Jonathan “JONBOY” Valena for a 12-item limited-edition capsule collection, available for purchase now via shopLAPOINTE.com.
“When conceptualizing my first collaboration I wanted it to feel natural so working with a friend felt like the right way to start. I have many of Jon’s tattoos and our spring 2017 show was the first fashion show he ever attended; it was the most natural of pairings,” LaPointe, a CFDA member, said. “Jon and I share a love for New York which inspired the capsule. Each piece holds a special place in my heart.”
JONBOY, whose clients include Kendall & Kylie Jenner and Hailey & Justin Bieber, said they wanted to create designs that reflect their passions and love for the city. “New York has my heart and I hope our friends and followers fall in love with this special collection which my friend Sally and I collaborated on.”
