“Luxeleisure” is the way British designer David Koma and CFDA member Ilana Kugel are describing their new collaboration – and it couldn’t be more fitting. As Founder and Creative Director of Kugel, the LA-based designer’s luxe performance brand has become a staple for street style and athletic wear enthusiasts, counting Hailey Bieber and Olivia Culpo among fans.

Koma has attracted a similar set of fans for his ultra body-con styles that grace virtually every red carpet. Based in London, the Central Saint Martins graduate was a natural fit to work with Kugel on this one-of-a-kind collection.

The collaboration perfectly blends Kugel’s LA sensibility and Brazilian flare with Koma’s London-inspired tone. Bodysuits with cutout detailing and layer-able sweat sets are practical enough for the everyday while remaining elevated.

“It’s a dream come true to have created a capsule collection that embodies what KORAL is all about, performance, fashion, and sustainability and no one better to share that vision than with David Koma,” said Kugel.

The sportswear collection also features a focus on sustainability in honor of Earth Month, a cause near and dear to both designer’s hearts. Each piece utilizes premium Italian French Terry and Koral Blackout fabric, which is domestically made in the U.S. with solar panel technology, produced according to environmental laws and regulations, and is biodegradable. The campaign also enlisted model and electric scooter racer Jordan Rand, a participating in the world’s first eSkootr championship, to promote sustainable mobility choices.

The 24-piece collection, offered in a range of neutrals and bold statement colors, is sure to be a summer staple as we head into warmer days.

“Throughout the years, I often turned to athleticism for inspiration, which is why it was very exciting to work on this collection. It was great to collaborate with Ilana and the team at Koral to create a luxeleisure range which is both sustainable and timeless,” said Koma.

The collection will be available from April 14th at koral.com, with prices $98-$355.
