Kobi Halperin Takes on the City of Light

October 6, 2025

“Noveau Depart” was the title of Kobi Halperin’s spring 2026 sh0w, and the setting couldn’t have been more apropos for this New York-based CFDA member. Halperin decided to take his eponymous brand to Paris for the first time, and to mark the special occasion, he selected a special venue: the Hôtel de Maisons on Rue de l’Université, perhaps best known as the former home of one of the city’s (and world’s) most famous fashion designers, the late Karl Lagerfeld.

Like the setting, these clothes were enchanting, drawing on the architecture and spirit of the venue and inspired by the women Halperin designs for – “strong, delicate, evolving. Silhouettes, textures, and signature details revive the soul of the space, rooted in Eden’s story of exile and return. Nouveau Départ is that rebirth.”

Halperin also introduced jewelry – think serpent-like pins and earrings – and accessories with Deepa Gurnani and shoes with Maison Ernest.

“In uncertain times, we hope to unite and remind that beauty matters, beginnings are possible,” he said, “and Paris—always Paris—is where we bloom again.”
