Kim Shui is Fitbit’s Newest Design Collaborator

Today, the CFDA is thrilled to announce the second edition of our partnership with Fitbit through a new design collaboration. We’ve enlisted Kim Shui – the emerging designer who has dressed Kylie Jenner, Halsey, and more—to offer her take on the signature Fitbit Versa style.

CFDA’s first Fitbit Versa collaboration was with PH5 in 2017.

Shui brings a modern twist to the Versa Family with an original collection of modern friendship bracelets that juxtapose suede with sleek technology. The American-born, Italian-raised, and ethnically Chinese designer drew inspiration from community, connection, and global inspiration. The result aims to appeal to women everywhere — women of all shapes, colors and sizes who belong to an inclusive “girl gang” to make all women feel beautiful and strong.

The collection features two unique bands crafted from Horween® suede, retailing for $54.95. The braided suede bracelet in grey/mist features a pattern of interwoven greys, while the suede wrap bracelet in merlot twists around the wrist for a unique, eclectic look. Available mid-September, the pieces will also be featured in Kim Shui’s upcoming runway New York Fashion Week show.

Shui is a perfect fit – she represents the shared mission to celebrate and support emerging designers who blend fashion with innovation.

Mark your calendars for mid-September!
