There’s a new arrival on Madison Avenue. CFDA Member Jonathan Cohen celebrated the arrival of his first stand-alone pop-up shop with a fashionable fete that included the likes of Batsheva Hay, Gigi Burris, Lynn Yaeger, Victor Glemaud, and more.
Located on the Upper East Side, the expansive two-story space offers pieces from the Spring-Summer 2022 collection, the first delivery of the Fall-Winter 2022 collection, and one-of-a-kind pieces from The Studio.
The space brings life to the brand’s signature florals and intricate design work with an impeccably decorated space, drawing décor and furniture from Sabai Furniture and Fernando Mastrangelo. A Flux de Tulipes dining table by Djivan Schapira anchors the space, while six collaborative artworks with the artist will adorn the walls. An enticing salon-style space will be dedicated to client fittings.
“We are also excited to have some exclusive upcycled pieces and collaborations using our past season fabric remnants. We collaborated with artist Djivan Schapira to create six wall sculptures which was new for us and worked so well alongside our collections,” Cohen added.
The collection also sits alongside a wide assortment of goods from other brands, including ERA shoes, SUD Aromas of The Cote D’AZUR candles, Seven Cedars homeware, a curated selection of Dempsey & Carroll stationery, and a variety of Assouline books.
“We have always valued our time with our clients. The pop-up allows us to connect with existing clients, who might have only purchased us online, and meet new ones to provide the full brand experience. It has been so special for us to have the clients and community we have built in NYC to see our full vision actualized,” said Cohen.
The Jonathan Cohen Madison Avenue pop-up store is open Monday-Saturday, 11am-7pm and Sunday, 11am-5pm now through June 14, 2022.
