Jennifer Lopez is no stranger to breaking the Internet. Lopez, who famously triggered the invention of Google Images after wearing the green silk chiffon Versace dress to the 2000 Grammys, has done it once again. This past weekend, the 2019 CFDA Fashion Icon lived up to her title with another great look.
While celebrating her 52nd birthday in France, Lopez took to social media to celebrate the occasion by showing off her lavish vacation – and more importantly, making her relationship with Ben Affleck Instagram official.
The debut of ‘Bennifer’ 2.0 flooded everyone’s timelines and sparked a million headlines – but Affleck wasn’t Lopez’s only notable accessory.
Our eyes were instantly drawn to the ultimate accessory – a taupe felt hat with a silhouette that could only be the work of CFDA Member Nick Fouquet.

Fouquet confirmed the tear drop fedora was a grade 20 Ecuadorian straw in a unique custom color developed by the brand. The band, a lime green pleated silk with a silver hardware strap, is complete with three silver hammered nuggets on the crown and finished with a hemp stamped strap and Japanese waxed rope.
J.Lo is just the latest celebrity to rock one of Nick’s hats – Pharrell, David Beckham, and Kendall Jenner are already members of his fan club. Regardless of the customer, the luxury hatmaker continues to create all his designs with equal love and care by hand in his Venice, CA studio.
Lopez served as the perfect model for this particularly exquisite creation. “It was a great fit because the proportion of the hat were balanced to her and the color compliments her skin tone,” said Fouquet.
But then again, it’s hard to not to look good in anything when you’re Jennifer Lopez.
When asked on his reaction to the post, Fouquet simply said, ‘Who’s that hot babe? Oh, it’s J.Lo.”
