Jason Wu Spring-Summer Look 1

The teasers for Jason Wu’s Spring-Summer 2021 show – “At the End of the Boardwalk, I Found my Paradise” or “Meet Me in Tulum” – promised to bring us to a magical place replete with a wardrobe of looks from his contemporary collection. After six months of isolation, it was indeed a much-needed excursion, which Wu delivered with a breezy chic. Opening with Indya Moore in a burnt orange dress with eyelet detail, the designer  riffed on languid dressing destined for an endless summer. His strong color accentuated this spirit – think fuchsia with neon yellow, or a canary jacket and full skirt shown with a bandeau. His darker colors – a deep green, to name one – were just as delightful, and fit for boardwalks and even some boardrooms, or Zoom calls if you will.
