The CFDA partnership with RUNWAY360 Founding Partner American Express is centered on many shared values, among them the support of small designers businesses, which have been particularly impacted by the pandemic as they’re still in the early building phases of their brands.
With that in mind, we are deepening our American Express partnership this season to bring exposure and a new sales channel to some of the most exciting names on the American Collections Calendar.
CFDA and American Express will also launch a series of virtual events curated around themes such as DEI, Female Founders, and Sustainability. These events are exclusive to American Express Card Members. A.POTTS, Jonathan Cohen, Studio 189, and more will be given a platform to walk viewers through their latest collection and describe the creative process to an audience consisting of consumer-centric Platinum and Centurion Card Members.
Additionally, the unique American Express platform will enable e-commerce capabilities for established and emerging designers, including Private Policy, Frederick Anderson Collection, Victor Li, Naeem Khan, and ADEAM, who will be able to offer their runway looks for presale immediately following their collection debuts.
The platform will also feature shopRUNWAY360, an exclusive e-commerce shop curated by American Express, which gives these designers the opportunity to sell pieces from current collections to consumers.
