Saks’s animated displays nod to the theater with ample splendor for Fifth Avenue passers-by.

It’s impossible to stroll down Fifth Avenue and not take notice of Saks’s magnificent light show, which lights up the entire side of the building.

The retailer took the idea of a holiday window to new heights with vignettes inspired by the grandeur of the theater. On opening night, i.e. the big reveal, Saks staged an exclusive performance titled Theater of Dreams, produced by Broadway Cares.

The theatrical sensibility is carried across six bold window coverings that depict a different scene from a shopper’s dream. Ranging from a visit to the shoe salon to a trip to the beauty floor, the vignettes depict all facets of the Saks customer’s experience.

Adorned with luxurious clothing and real-life props, the window displays also incorporate digital screens to truly bring the animation to life – a first for the 94-year old retailer.

The window animation and light show will continue throughout the holiday season until January 2, 2019. Check them out!
