New York has always been a source of inspiration for Heron Preston, so it only made sense that he would eventually make his runway debut at New York Fashion Week. The rustic downtown venue served as the perfect backdrop for the designer’s workwear silhouettes – think utility shirts, denim cargo pants, and oversized fireman coats. Distressed fabrics complimented more elevated shearling pieces for the perfect balance of high-low. Preston also introduced a full skiwear line complete with thermal pieces, puffer jackets, and windbreakers in recyclable nylon. We hope Preston is here to stay.
