Hellessy Fall-Winter 2021

Giving back has never looked more chic. In lieu of a digital presentation, CFDA member Sylvie Millstein debuted her Fall 2021 collection with a charitable twist. The designer behind Hellessy teamed up with Gods Love We Deliver, an organization that prepares medically tailored meals for individuals living with severe and chronic illness – a service more vital than ever.

Millstein enlisted several friends of the brand – including 90s supermodels Veronica Webb and Michele Hicks, Jessica Joffe, Anya Ziourova, and Amalie Gassmann – to model the collection on site at the charity organization, while also helping to prepare meals and pack meals for the city’s most vulnerable communities.

The collaboration is fitting for Millstein, who has always been informed by the art of dressing up and dining out. Inspired by the glamour and resilience of New York, the collection presented pretty elevated one-shoulder dresses and luxurious knits for perfect for a night on the town. However, there is a much more relaxed approach as well – with chunky knits, blazers, and ripped denim options. The new collection will also debut a special capsule, a T-shirt and a hoodie, with proceeds going to God’s Love We Deliver.

“I wanted to give back to my city, New York, and Gods Love We Deliver came immediately to mind – I pass by their headquarters on my way to my office so often and I have always wanted to find a way to contribute to the invaluable work they do,” Millstein said. “Especially in those incredibly tough times I felt it was important to find a way to help, use our platform for good and show support to those in need. Fashion can have a conscience and celebrate a good cause.”
