Here’s how to inaugurate new digs – throw a really great party. That’s  just what happened in Paris on Sunday night, when CFDA and Vogue celebrated this season’s 10 American in Paris talents with a cocktail party to remember. It brought out the coolest crowd of Paris Fashion Week –  think Gigi and Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Virgil Abloh, Alton Mason, Halima Aden, Caroline Daur, and Nicky Rothschild – for a Parisian night with a good ol’ American vibe.

Bieber was in Paris for all but 24 hours, flying in specifically to host the event. The model and newlywed, who isn’t doing any runway shows this season, said she was taking some time for herself and her family. Wearing a oversized neon denim shirt with a matching cargo miniskirt from Matthew Adams Dolan, Vogue’s current cover star said, “I like wearing things that I would actually buy or wear-out; it has to feel like me.”

In addition to Dolan, this season’s participating designers are Batsheva Hay of Batsheva, Emily Adams Bode of Bode, Christian Cowan, Danielle Corona of Hunting Season, Jonathan Cohen, Raul Lopez of Luar, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss, Rebecca de Ravenel, and Scosha Woolridge of Scosha.

As guests were beginning to arrive to the Klarna-sponsored event, Bieber caught up with the Hadids,Campbell, and Olivia Perez, who all stopped by to check out the Americans in Paris.

“I love coming here, not just as Gigi and Bella, but someone genuinely curious about the designer’s story and how they got here and  every stitch that goes into each piece,” Bella Hadid, who has hosted this cocktail in the past, said. “I am honestly looking to learn.”

Gigi Hadid concurred, adding how she loves the big brands who launched her career and is equally enamored with young talent and supporting it. “It’s good to come and meet the designers, form new creative friendships, and build relationships,” she noted.

Speaking of creative friendships, Virgil Abloh showed his  support for good friends Kerby Jean-Raymond and Raul Lopez.

“Raul is a fashion fixture representing a fashion niche that is under-represented – which is so important right now, that authentic downtown vibe,” Abloh offered. “He, along with Shayne Oliver and Telfar Clemens, are key to the creativity of this tribe.”

Indya Moore, star of Pose on FX, was on her maiden voyage to Europe by invitation of Louis Vuitton. “Paris is very surprising,” the Bronx-born actress noted, “It’s really beautiful, but even more so is the love I received from the people here.”

YouTube star Emma Chamberlain landed Sunday morning for her first trip to the City of Light. “I just want to drink coffee, see the Eiffel tower as well as painting or two,” she said, scanning the room and checking out the collections (Bode was a favorite).

Mother-and-daughter models Pat and Anna Cleveland also came out to see the emerging designers, Pat from from her star turn on Tommy Hilfiger’s Battle of Versailles-themed runway. Anna, meanwhile, is having her own Paris moment in the spotlight. “I am performing on stage at Folies Bergère in Fashion Freak Show as a dancer,” she said. “I love being on stage and I find it really beautiful to take a dive into something new, as these designers are. That’s why we are here tonight: to celebrate newness, which is so important, and to embrace new things. That’s what fashion is about.”
