We’re excited to announce the 10 designers participating in Americans in Paris this season, and Hailey Bieber will be in the City of Light to celebrate them.
The participating designers – all 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists – are Batsheva Hay of Batsheva, Emily Adams Bode of Bode, Christian Cowan, Danielle Corona of Hunting Season, Jonathan Cohen, Matthew Adams Dolan, Raul Lopez of Luar, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss, Rebecca de Ravenel, and Scosha Woolridge of Scosha.
Jean-Raymond was the winner of the 2018 Fashion Fund, while Bode and Cohen were crowned runners-up.
Klarna is proud to sponsor the initiative. The leading global payments provider increases purchasing power for shoppers by allowing them to use various checkout methods and pay over time. By supporting this initiative, Klarna continues its dedication to the fashion industry – assisting both consumers and retailers.
“Paris is an important stop on the global fashion week circuit, and with Americans in Paris, we are helping the designers meet the buyers and editors whom they might not have otherwise met,” said Steven Kolb, President and CEO of the CFDA.
This season’s opening cocktail party to celebrate the initiative is set for Sunday, March 3, and will be hosted by Hailey Bieber at the showroom. The model is the star of American Vogue’s March cover with her husband Justin.
The showcase will be located at 64 Rue Pierre Charron. and open from Saturday, March 2 to Monday, March 4, 11am to 6pm. RSVP: americansinparis@kcdworldwide.co.uk
