Look Back, Look Forward. It’s the ethos behind designer Graham Tyler’s collection that plays to his signature world painted black, white and gray.
The classic and emblematic cotton poplin button-down that has become characteristic of the brand gets a subverted update in the form of a crinoline gown and shirt dress with precise pleats and early Victorian detailed shoulders featuring billowing sleeves. Tyler also introduced leather this season via a pilgrim collar moto jacket and skirt, and a vegan option, too, for a bustier.
The digital innovation in his prints returned, this time in the form of 1932 horror film Vampyr, a story about a student of the occult who encounters the curse of a vampire. It’s a classic, supernatural reference for the designer, who has remained true to his aesthetic and continues to offer garments “for those who treat themselves as a gallery, and need the tools to curate themselves as such.”
