GQ’s Sam Schube Shares his Fall Essentials

November 27, 2019

Nicky Campbell

Sam Schube knows a thing or two about looking good. As GQ’s resident Senior Style Editor, he runs the publication’s online Style section and contributes the print magazine. That means he keeps his finger on the pulse of all things menswear. His recent credits include reporting on the industry, declaring no-show socks no more and rubbing shoulders with athlete Lebron James and actor Cillian Murphy, to name a few.

With winter fast approaching, it’s time to chuck out the old summer wardrobe and make room for the new fall essentials. Here are Sam’s picks:

Todd Snyder, Cashmere V-Neck Sweater, $298

“Now, this is going to sound controversial, but here goes: I’m looking forward to buying a V-neck sweater for the first time in a decade this fall.”

Ami Two Buttons Patch Pockets Jacket, $875

“The best kind of jacket is just a really gnarly blazer.”

Entire World Cozy Brushed Sweatpants, $88

“Coziness waits for no man.”

Isabel Marant Luckas Pant, $690

“Hoping to be mistaken for an artist in these.”

Arc’teryx, Atom AR Hoody, $299

“Prepare for NYC winter as if you’re summiting Everest. Bonus: people will think you’re an outdoorsman.”

Sid Mashburn Kincaid No. 2 Ticket Pocket Suit, $1450

“Nothing more fall-feeling than a brown suit.”

Trudon Napoléon Bust, $180

“I dunno. Just feels like a vibe.”
