From March 4-6, a new crop of CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund alums will exhibit their work at Americans in Paris, the global showcase for emerging American designers during Paris Fashion Week that attracts a wide array of international retailers and editors.
The nine participating designers are 2017 CVFF winners Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock of Brock Collections, runners-up Adam Selman and Stirling Barrett of Krewe, and Ji Oh, Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk of Area, Morgan Curtis of Morgan Lane, Chloe Gosselin, NewbarK’s Maryam and Marjan Malakpour, and Rochambeau’s Laurence Chandler and Joshua Cooper.
This season, the showcase will be located in a townhouse that was once inhabited by Coco Chanel, at 29 Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honoree. Guests will be able to view the designers’ new collections, take a moment to enjoy a coffee, energize with a healthy snack, and hydrate with LIFEWTR, a new premium water dedicated to creativity and inspiration, at the showroom’s café.
“The twelfth season of Americans in Paris features an entire new lineup of designers from the 2016 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, including the winner and two runners-up,” said Steven Kolb, President and CEO of the CFDA. “Showing in Paris during fashion week allows these emerging talents to bring their creativity to a global platform.”
The showcase will be celebrated with a cocktail party on March 3 at the 1728 restaurant, within in the restored salons of the Hotel Mazin La Fayette.
