Love Ball III celebrated both pride and ballroom culture at New York City’s Gotham Hall on Tuesday night. In an effort to raise crucial funds for the CFDA-Vogue HIV/AIDS Fund at the New York Community Trust, renowned performers of the ballroom scene battled for the honor of taking home of the trophy. The competition was strong, and the contestants went all out. Wigs were snatched, clothes were flying, and bodies were shaking as the performers came down the stage. There was no shortage of creativity – think an ice skating rink, a cathedral, and a queen trapped in a balloon. Yes we’re serious – you can’t make these glorious things up!
However, there could only be one winner for each category for each trophy customized by world-renowned artists. See the winners!
