Fashion Stands with Planned Parenthood is Fashion’s Favorite Pin

If you didn’t get a Fashion Stands with Planned Parenthood pin this New York Fashion Week: Women’s, you missed out on one of the season’s most popular accessory!

It was a favorite across board, from Anna Wintour, who was spotted with one in the Calvin Klein front row (prompting Vanessa Friedman of the New York Times to write a piece) to Olivia Wilde, who posted a selfie on Instagram, and Chelsea Clinton, who retweeted us and added, “Thank you @CFDA & New York Fashion Week for using your voices to support Planned Parenthood.” You are welcome!

Meanwhile, Brandon Maxwell, Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, Mara Hoffman, Milly’s Michelle Smith, and Cushnie et Ochs’s Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs all sported the pin for their end-of-show bows, while Alice & Olivia had them on hand for guests who wanted to show their support. And that’s just some of the support.

CFDA worked leading international social media intelligence company Talkwalker, which provided tangible insights on the campaign’s staggering success. According to Talkwalker’s analytics, the initiative had over 34,000 mentions during NYFW: Women’s— more than three times those Calvin Klein, which, with the unveiling of Raf Simons’ first collection for the house, registered 11,000 mentions. As for impressions, Fashion Stands with Planned Parenthood had over 103k.

Through industry support, the CFDA is able to donate $5 for every post of the pin featuring the #IStandwithPP hashtag. Keep posting!
