Americans in Paris Update: Gigi Hadid is no longer able to celebrate with the nine Americans in Paris designers at our cocktail this Saturday. Fellow model, actress, and activist Emily Ratajkowski is stepping in and co-hosting the party of Paris Fashion Week with Stefano Rosso, Chief Executive Officer of Diesel North America.
Together, they will toast the group, which this season features
Ahlem by Ahlem Manai-Platt, Area by Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk, Chromat by Becca McCharen-Tran, Victor Glemaud, Ji Oh, RtA by Eli Azran, Sandy Liang, Telfar by Telfar Clemens, and Vaquera by Patric DiCaprio, Bryn Taubensee and Claire Sully.
Ratajkowski is no stranger to the top party of Paris Fashion Week. The I am Pretty star has stopped by several times in the past – at 1728 Restaurant in March 2017, and last September at the showcase.
The showroom is generously underwritten by Diesel, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary. To mark the milestone, the nine Americans in Paris designers were given the brief to apply their viewpoints to the signature Diesel denim jacket. The unique, customized designs will be on display in the showroom.
Tomorrow London Holdings Ltd is providing additional support through event production, targeted outreach for the designers and managing sales appointments, distribution and retail. Its CEO and Founder Stefano Martinetto will host a breakfast for the designers at the showroom on Monday, October 1.
Pastries from nearby American bakery Stoney Clove Bakery will be available over the course of the three days.
The showroom is set for Saturday, September 29 – Monday, October 1, from 11am-6pm. Email americansinparis@kcdworldwide.co.uk to RSVP.
