Dr. Macrene Alexiades, the dual board-certified dermatologist, scientist, and Friend of the CFDA, just launched her luxury skincare brand DR. MACRENE actives exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman.
To celebrate the launch, she tapped Nicky Hilton Rothschild to co-host the intimate event at the flagship, where friends, clients and followers of Dr. Alexiades and her brand gathered to clink champagne glasses and experience the line—known as the beauty brand of the fashion world—firsthand.
Guests included CFDA members Stacey Bendet Eisner and Jennifer Fisher, as well as Alina Cho, Priya Shukla, Dani Stahl, Charlotte Groeneveld, Ezra J. William, Tracy Margolies, Yumi Shin, Kate Davidson Hudson, Sofia Karvela and Steven Kolb.
The products, backed by more than 25 years of dermatologic and genetics research, has over 50 active ingredients, all crafted handmade for the highest luxury output, and bottled in glass to eliminate plastic waste.
“DR. MACRENE actives aims to restore models and clients’ skin to its natural pristine state–the perfect canvas for showcasing the most elevated designs,” said Dr. Alexiades. “This partnership represents the pinnacle of achievement in luxury beauty and fashion.”
In addition, Dr. Alexiades will be at the flagship store on Thursdays, holding mini consultations with clients. Her devotion to the development of the brand is a testament to her aspirations in building this to be a legacy brand. What sets Dr. Alexiades’ products apart from the rest is her artisinal, science-backed, hands-on approach in every step of the process, down to the client experience.

On the occasion, the brand also unveiled the expansion of its eye care collection with DR. MACRENE actives High Performance Eye Mask. Each patch infuses the skin with peptides, hyaluronic acids, antioxidants, polyphenols, brighteners, plant-derived caffeine, and microbiome rebalancers.
“I feel like I’ve arrived to heaven,” said Dr. Alexiades at the event. “When Spencer Tracy said, ‘When I die I don’t want to go to Heaven, I want to go to Claridge’s,’ I feel that now, except for me, I want to go to Bergdorf’s.”
