New York City is Dennis Basso’s home. It’s where the designer lives with his husband, Michael; it’s where he’s dressed some of the most glamourous celebrity and private clients, and where he just opened a fabulous new store. The latter was the venue for his Fall-Winter 2024 collection, which was inspired by “our great city New York,” he said. Cue statement gowns and pantsuits, some with embellished collars and pockets, and luxurious fabrics from brocade and cashmere to tweeds and gazar.

“The looks embody the New York City Woman…in her 20s or a woman of a certain age,” Basso said. “New York will always be the gateway to fashion.”
