"The Yurmans and their designs always embodied

New York for me – bold, fresh and just a bit of edge," said Scarlett Johansson.

"There is a magnetism to New York City and a tenacity among New Yorkers that is difficult to describe, but

contagious just the same. David Yurman is

a testament to the city’s heritage and values," said Henry Golding.

Evan Yurman became president of David Yurman, the jewelry company founded by his parents David and Sybil, last November, and for the 2022 campaign – the first under his leadership – he picked a very special celebrity duo: global superstars Scarlett Johansson and Henry Golding.

The campaign is called “Come Closer” and celebrates this exact sentiment: a time, after lockdowns, for us all to reconnect and  take comfort in closeness.

“After years of separation for many – much longer than any of us could have anticipated – we are all craving connection,” Evan Yurman said. “‘Come Closer’ is a call to all of us to delight in the everyday, where simple moments with family and friends are unexpected and beautiful.”

It’s also a love letter to New York City, the Yurmans’ hometown. Johansson was photographed by Lachlan Bailey and styled by Anastasia Barbieri at The Carlyle, including its famed Bemelmans Bar. In addition to the stills, a short film captures her singing and humming Sinatra’s “New York, New York.”

“A native New Yorker at the top of her craft, Scarlett is a woman who forges her own path. She doesn’t take no for an answer and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and what’s right,” Evan Yurman said.

Bailey also shot Golding styled by George Cortina at Casa Cipriani as well as The Carlyle.

“Henry embodies the passion and grit of the David Yurman man,” Evan Yurman said. “He’s extremely talented, principled, and well-traveled, but of all the amazing places he’s visited and after all that he’s achieved, it is the spirit of New York City that keeps calling him back.”

David Yurman continue to support its Unity Fund created in partnership with Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty fighting philanthropy, and beginning today, 20 percent of sales from a curated selection of women’s and men’s pieces,  will benefit the David Yurman Unity Fund.
