The Danielle Frankel bride is anything but ordinary. For the bridal spring 2025 season, CFDA member Danielle Hirsch stumbled into a collection of “accidental Impressionism.” Oil-on-canvas landscapes were interpreted by hand-painted petit-fleurs, watercolor prints, and sculpted blooms.
The usual interplay of hard and soft remains a brand signature, but the studio’s usual pleating got a new twist with bias-cut strips that read as such. Other newness for this season includes silk jersey to bring goddess-like liquidity—another nod to the art wave which includes movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience.
Various shades of ivory, bubble hems for volume, degradé-dyed and pearl-tipped organza fringes, and delicate veiling provided the tools for a bride who freely paints over lines and contours, and instead chooses her own definition of beauty to paint her own perfect picture.
