In celebration of Earth Month, the CFDA is participating in Conscious Fashion Campaign’s “Discover the Sustainable Development Goals” virtual education hub, held virtually from April 1 – 30.
The second edition virtual educational experience, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships, aims to strengthen engagement from the global fashion sector to further support the Sustainable Development Goals.
The hub showcases short films, documentaries, reports, videos, infographics, and other tools focused on Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action.
The online event’s participating organizations include 1% for the Planet, BCorp, Textile Exchange, WWF, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Fashion Revolution, Nest, The Sustainable Angle, and more alongside the CFDA.
The CFDA’s virtual booth features resources including videos from past webinars, campaigns, programs and summits centered around sustainability, as well as an extensive group of documents developed by the CFDA that were created to give tangible and open-access information on ways designers can progress and grow more responsible and sustainable practices within their businesses.
