Chloe Gosselin first met Marina Larroudé when she debuted her collection at Barneys New York, where the latter served as fashion director at the time. Fast forward and the two female designers and creative directors have developed a friendship – bonding over their love for shoes, motherhood, the power of collaboration and women supporting other women.
Enter Chloe Gosselin by Studio Larroude, the chic new limited edition collection designed by the CFDA member and Larroudé, whose exquisite craftsmanship perfectly works with Gosselin’s design and color proclivities.
In the process, Gosselin got to know Larroudé’s passionate team and factories in Brazil, which produce the capsule at a contemporary designer price.
“My intention,” Gosselin said, “was never to make shoes for the wealthiest, but to offer a product that is beautifully and ethically made. I have found that in collaborating with Larroudé.”
Community pulsed through this collaboration, from the campaign directed by Gosselin’s best friend, Jennifer Massaux. The shoes are named after the daughters of Gosselin’s friends.
Per the press statement, this is “a collaboration about family and friendship at its core—and the invisible threads that unite women.”
