It’s that time of year again. The February 2024 New York Fashion Week shows are upon us, and to fete the occasion, CFDA member designer Todd Snyder hosted an intimate cocktail event with CFDA CEO Steven Kolb on Thursday evening.

On the eve of the Official NYFW kickoff, they gathered at Frenchette in the West Village, a favorite of Snyder’s which sits next door to his retail shop and liquor store. The New York-based designer, who took Italy by storm last month with a runway show in Florence, wanted to make sure to connect with the local fashion community in celebration of New York Fashion Week.

The room was an eclectic mix of fashion designers, editors, publicists, and power players. Established designers including CFDA Chairman Thom Browne, Aurora James, and Joseph Altuzarra mingled with emerging talents Edvin Thompson, Jacques Agbobly, and Bach Mai. Guests also included Vanity Fair’s Radhika Jones, GQ’s Jim Moore, WWD’s Booth Moore, retailer Sherri McMullen, and fashion talents Lexi Wood and Chris Appleton.

“I’ve been a CFDA member for over 10 years and was fortunate enough to be a CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund finalist. I know first-hand the great work and guidance the CFDA provides, and – as importantly – the incredible friendships and community our industry benefits from because of their work. I wanted to give back. This was the perfect opportunity to cohost the kickoff event for NYFW.”
