CFDA & Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation Donate Critical PPEs

April 8, 2020

Cal Mcneil

As part of our COVID-19 relief efforts, CFDA has assisted and encouraged the industry to mobilize and answer the call to alleviate critical shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) products.

Today, we are proud to announce a partnership between the CFDA Foundation and the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation to donate some of the most critical PPE products needed throughout the United States.

Our joint donation includes 250,000 masks and 25,000 isolation gowns that follow FDA-required standards, which, starting this week, will be given to frontline workers in highly impacted areas including New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.

Outside of the PPE relief efforts, the Ralph Lauren Corporation has been a strong supporter of the CFDA, including being a Founding Partner of the CFDA’s Fashion Manufacturing Initiative (FMI), which it recently re-committed to with $1 million to provide funding for the next five years, as well as the $1 million contribution to the CFDA and Vogue initiative A Common Thread.
