CFDA Members Speak out Against Anti-Asian Violence

February 13, 2021

There’s been an alarming rise in hate crimes against communities across the U.S. over the past few years, and many are increasingly directed at Asian Americans. To bring awareness to these deplorable acts, CFDA members including Prabal Gurung, Josie Natori, Phillip Lim and Dao-Yi Chow are joining the likes of Michelle Lee and Olivia Munn in speaking out on their social channels to bring awareness to these hate crimes.

“We hope to galvanize the social media campaign #stopasianhate to drive awareness and encourage allyship amongst communities of color,” Wen Zhou and Phillip Lim said in a joint em. “We’re stronger together.”

If you’d like to donate or get involved with an organization, please visit Apexforyouth, Oakland Chinatown Coalition and Asian American and Pacific Islander Women Lead.

CFDA has zero tolerance for hate crimes of any kind. We stand with the Asian American community, the Black community, the Jewish community, the LGBTQ+ community, and any other group that has been the target of bias and crime.
