Metallics, in all variations, ruled the Met Gala red carpet, and so did was American Fashion. More than ever in recent memory, celebrities arrived at The Met Fifth Avenue dressed by CFDA designers. Among them, Bette Midler, who wore a dress by Marc Jacobs and arrived with perhaps the best accessory of the night, ie. Jacobs himself, and Lupita Nyong’o, whose towering hair style did not distract from her beautiful Calvin Klein Collection gown. And these are just some of the highlights. Here, CFDA.com put together the best American Fashion from Monday night’s Costume Institute Benefit.
