In the ongoing effort to champion civic duty and social engagement with the broader fashion industry, the CFDA is pleased to partner with the Democracy Works TurboVote program to encourage voter registration.
TurboVote is a digital, non-partisan voter registration platform to help make voter registration easy and simple. Started in 2012, TurboVote has successfully helped more than 5 million voters to register. With this new partnership, we will help the fashion industry exercise their right to vote! The mission of this partnership is to raise awareness for voter registration and provide a user-friendly platform to do so.
The CFDA & Democracy Works TurboVote platform is ideal for those who are:
Registering to vote for the first time
Updating their voter registration if they’ve moved to a new state
Requesting an absentee ballot
After registering, the TurboVote system helps provide state-specific updates on elections, friendly reminders, and tools and resources to make the process as simple as possible.
