CFDA Announces Important NYFW: Women’s Schedule Changes

April 18, 2017

The CFDA, through the Fashion Calendar, has been working with the industry to improve the overall New York Fashion Week experience and better serve attendees.

Listening to industry feedback calling for a more succinct NYFW schedule, the CFDA is pleased to confirm that beginning with the Spring/Summer 2018 Collections season, Marc Jacobs will close NYFW on Wednesday, September 13th at 6PM.

As a result, the CFDA is eliminating the second Thursday and shortening NYFW by one day.

Anchoring the first day of the week, Calvin Klein and Tom Ford are both confirmed to show on Thursday, September 7th – Calvin Klein at 10AM and Tom Ford at 7PM.

The CFDA is still working on finalizing other shifts throughout the week, doing its best to work with brands to ensure that the calendar is meeting designer needs and maximizing their presence during the week.  Further updates will follow.
