After the historic Women’s March in 2017, our members looked to CFDA for a leadership role in women’s empowerment and equality in the workplace. This encouraged us to spearhead, address, and initiate a study, and CFDA partnered with Glamour to develop it. Enter The Glass Runway, a comprehensive study on gender equality that was not just a CFDA highlight in 2018, but also something we are immensely proud of as we continue to work on diversity, inclusion, and gender equality to make the American fashion industry the best it can be.
