Bode’s Ivy Moment with Yale School of Music Collaboration

August 20, 2026

Bode’s recent collaboration with the Yale School of Music is one for the books.

The brand, which was founded and is designed by CFDA member Emily Adams Bode Aujla, created a collection of custom pieces to honor a century of music education and performance.

More specifically, Bode centered the collection on the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, which has championed the summer students of Yale School of Music for over  a century.

For this year’s Festival, organizers commissioned an original composition from Yale School of Music graduate student Nahre Sol. Sol was tasked to explore the original research behind Bode’s Fall 2026 Rodeo Bodeo collection, which explored regional music and key figures from Western and rodeo history.

Sol’s composition was unveiled at a concert on August 8th. The special moment honored America’s 250th birthday and was accompanied by a conversation between the designer, the composer and professor Beverly Gage from the Yale history faculty.

Bode’s custom designs – T-Shirts, polos, a tote bag and a customized poplin shirt – were inspired by the history of the Chamber Music Festival and the Yale Summer School of Art and Music.
