Candace Marie Stewart’s Black in Corporate and Kering Americas just announced the launch of their summer virtual mentorship program, which offers corporate Black professionals access to resources, opportunities, and collaboration at a pivotal point in their careers. During the month-long mentorship program, mentees will be paired with individuals across kering Americas and its Houses from an array of departments, including Marketing/Advertising, Project Management/Operations, Human Resources, Financial Services, Media/Communication and Technology.
Running through August, the program will include skill development workshops, exclusive speaker events with Kering executives, and cultivate relationships between professionals in fashion and the BIC network.
“My hope for this collaboration is to open doors for other Black professionals who are eager to explore this realm, and to mitigate many of the obstacles that I dealt with in the beginning of my career in a sustainable, long-lasting way,” Stewart said.
