28 Black Fashion Forces: Hannah Stoudemire and Ali Richmond

February 16, 2019

Fashion For All Foundation’s mission couples fashion education with a dedication to diversity and creating consciousness. Founded by Hannah Stoudemire and Ali Richmond, the Foundation’s Ann Lowe Summer Intensive training program is one of a kind in the city, working with disenfranchised youth and giving them a fashion education.

During New York Fashion Week: Men’s in 2016, Stoudemire took to the streets in a silent protest towards the injustice on the hands of law enforcement. Richmond insisted that moment must become a movement, and from there, FFA was born.  The CFDA continues to support FFA in their endeavors for justice and equality!

Editor’s Note: In honor of Black History Month, we highlight some of the most influential forces in fashion, in no specific order. Their impact on the culture is undeniable – and we use this time to tip our hats off to their Black excellence.
