Bevza Fall 2021 Look 1

Svetlana Bevza is not your muse. The designer took Fall 2021 to focus on the significance of the female strength, inspired by ancient Ukraine’s feminist icon and leader Olga of Kiev (c.890-925), who fought for equality long before the 20th century movement brought upon women’s rights for the modern woman.

A sculptural Balaclava that symbolizes grace and regency stars as a focal point for the collection, with the headdress making multiple appearances to accentuate the ecological technologies behind her designs: mélange capes made of recycled plastic bottles, hand-knitted vests upcycled from previous collections, and a faux fur coat made of technical hemp that is grown and produced in Ukraine.

Bevza is here to remind you that in addition to stunning female beauty, women possess courage and strength.
