Remember when a store cocktail felt like a fabulous night out? Cue Bloomindgale’s, which, on Wednesday, celebrated the 2026 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists with the kind of shindig that’s for the books. The deejay was spinning terrific tunes; the cocktails were flowing, and guests were enjoying the newly transformed Designer Floor with a special dedicated visual feature showcasing each finalist’s work and individual creative point of view.
Bloomingdale’s, a partner of the 2026 Fashion Fund, was the perfect venue for the party, which was hosted by the retailer’s CEO Olivier Bron and Chief Merchant Denise Magid, who sits on the Fashion Fund Selection Committee.
For the finalists – including Aisling Camps, Amir Taghi, Emily Dawn Long, Juju Ferentinos, Zane Li, Claire Sullivan, Jamie Haller, Terrence Zhou, Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen – the evening began with a special tour of the store led by Bron and Magid.
Then came the cocktail with Selection Committee members Chloe Malle, Eva Chen, and Christopher John Rogers, who were joined by Tara Rudes Dann, Azeeza Khan, Yao King, Raul Peñaranda, Charlie DuBow, Samantha Archibald, and more.
“Bloomingdale’s really loves supporting emerging designers and we really like to have a platform for them to showcase their talent,” Magid, who is also a member of the Selection Committee, said.
“You can see how incredibly varied their references are,” Malle, American Vogue’s Head of Editorial Content, offered. “The finalists share a real singularity of vision and commitment to craft. I am so in awe of everything they do.”
The evening put fashion’s next generation firmly in the spotlight, celebrating their distinct voices and creative vision while drawing together an influential cross-section of the industry.
Bravo!
