Since starting his namesake brand in 2021, Andrew Kwon has looked to actress Ashley Park as an inspiration. This week, the muse turned to the designer for a special occasion in a full circle moment.

The fellow Korean-American tapped Kwon to create a custom couture look for Vogue Singapore’s prestigious Next in Vogue event, a celebration of innovation and creativity in fashion, culture, and lifestyle at The Singapore Edition. The gala, which marked Vogue Singapore’s third anniversary, brought together luminaries from the worlds of fashion and innovation for a multi-day extravaganza that promised to redefine the future of style.

Kwon crafted an ethereal gold silk duchess satin dress, incorporating a spectrum of golden shades, meticulously paired with his signature grandiose bow and an elegantly sweeping red carpet train. The hand-draped bodice featured intricate tulle drapery and exquisite 3D floral embroideries, drawing inspiration from Kwon’s bridal and debut eveningwear collections—a true testament to the seamless fusion of artistry and fashion.
